What are your fees?
Individual Therapy: $165 per 50-minute session
Family Therapy: $200 per 90-minute session
Group Therapy: $60 per 90-minute session (when available)
For the initial intake session, a 50-minute online meeting is required to ensure we're a good fit and discuss your needs. All payments are due prior to each session.

Do you take insurance?
I currently do not directly work with insurance companies. However, I am happy to provide you with a detailed receipt for services, called a Superbill (explained below), which you can submit to your insurance carrier. Many plans, particularly PPO plans, offer partial reimbursement for out-of-network (OON) mental health services.
How does a Superbill work for out-of-network reimbursement?
While I do not directly bill insurance companies, I can provide you with a Superbill. A Superbill is a detailed receipt for the therapy services you've received, containing all the necessary information your insurance provider needs for potential reimbursement.
Here’s how the process generally works:
You pay for your session fees directly to Iman Therapy Inc. at the time of service.
I provide you with a Superbill, typically on a monthly basis or upon request.
You then submit this Superbill directly to your health insurance company.
Your insurance provider will review the Superbill and, if your plan offers out-of-network (OON) mental health benefits, they may reimburse you for a portion of the session cost, directly to you.
It’s always best to contact your insurance carrier directly beforehand to understand your specific benefits for out-of-network psychotherapy and what percentage they cover. This can help you determine your potential out-of-pocket costs.
How long will treatment take? How fast can I see results?
It can take as little as 3-5 sessions to notice improvement or upwards of 12 sessions or more. It all depends on your goals, commitment to the therapeutic process, and severity of the issue. It’s difficult to predict in advanced how many sessions you need since everyone’s needs and goals are different. But my goal is to teach you how to be your own therapist so we can make treatment as short and effective as possible.
What should I do to prepare for my first session?
Preparing for your first online therapy session or in-person counseling appointment with Iman Therapy Inc. is straightforward, and a little preparation can help you make the most of it. Please ensure you have a private, quiet, and comfortable space where you won't be interrupted. A strong internet connection and a device with a working camera and microphone are essential. Having a glass of water nearby can also be helpful. Take a few moments beforehand to reflect on what brings you to therapy. Consider what challenges you're currently facing, what you hope to gain from our work together, and any specific goals you have for your mental health journey. Don't worry about having all the answers; simply reflecting can be a great starting point. Your initial session with me, Kamal, is a space for us to explore these goals together in a supportive environment.
What forms of payment do you accept?
You can securely pay for your individual counseling, teen therapy, men's mental health, or sports psychology sessions using all major credit cards, as well as Health Savings Account (HSA) and Flexible Spending Account (FSA) cards. All payments are processed prior to each session.
What should I do if I have a mental health emergency or crisis?
Please note that Iman Therapy Inc. is not a crisis service. If you are experiencing a mental health emergency or crisis, please call 911, go to your nearest emergency room, or contact a crisis hotline such as the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 988
